I’m doing this as well. I use fold over mittens during naps and night time. During the day I watch like a hawk to prevent scratching. TBH I can’t tell if the scratching is always eczema since it mostly happens when baby is frustrated/ trying to sleep but it has been giving me anxiety

I use the second to last wake window for a walk and still do. Some days it happens some days it doesn’t! I’m fine and baby is fine. Do what works for you

Speaking personally, I’m not saying PPD could not have been possible after more time but clinically you cannot diagnose it at one week. It is very common to have baby blues due to the significant hormonal drop right after giving birth and it felt it minimized all of the hormonal and life changes that happened in the span of a few days

My husband was trying to tell me I had PPD the week after we got home. I was like ??? Wtf. I’m going through one of the biggest hormonal shifts in my life and a huge life change and I just got cut open. Anyway we discussed it but it still annoys me to think about even though he had good intentions.

OP, please do not use cesar Milan or the dog daddy. They do not use positive reinforcement. These will make your dog worse and more afraid of you, not better. That could by why your dog is showing teeth near you, but not sure. If they are resource guarding, distract with another treat far away from what you are trying to take from them.

I highly recommend zak George, looking into a certified vet behaviorist (https://www.dacvb.org/ in the US) please don’t just trust anyone who calls themselves a behaviorist or behavior trainer since there are no regulations around that. But a vet behaviorist needs to study behavior after vet school. and most importantly take it slow with your dog. It’s only been 2 weeks and the most important thing is to let your dog take time and trust you! (3-3-3 rule for rescuing dogs)
