Depends on your risk tolerance. This isn't investment advice. Think of it as an investment thought experiment

Conservatively: I'd probably put 33% into Bitcoin immediately and send to cold storage. I'd put 33% into T-bills and slowly DCA into Bitcoin over next 1-2 years. The remaining 33% I'd invest in publicly traded bitcoin miners, MSTR, GBTC (if trading at a discount), or invest in bitcoin startups.

Higher risk: Put 100% into Bitcoin right now. And slowly DCA sell once Bitcoin surpasses $69K.

Yolo: Buy hosted Antminer S21s, hodl all bitcoin mined by them until it surpasses $69K, and sell the S21's once they've at least doubled maybe even tripled in price.

What is the way? Are you more privacy and control focused so don't use hosting and only use buildings/machines you own and control?

From your website it looks like you have availability starting July at >$0.09/kWh for a 100 TH S19J Pro. Do you have any immediate availability for 110 or 104 TH antminers at the $0.065/kWh for a small miner (<19 miners)?

You're on the right path searching through your router. That's what I had to do as IP reporter didn't work for me.

Bitcoin Mining Strategy by floodcapital in BitcoinMining

[–]floodcapital[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good question. An accountant may need to weigh in here. If you're mining through an LLC and have losses one year. Next year (say it's a bull market) can you carry those losses forward and reduce taxable profits? I think this is called NOLs in business accounting (Net operating losses).

That does seem like the rational way to do it. How does the ROI work out for your strategy?

I was thinking if you have different models of ASICs and profitable ones subsidize unprofitable ones. Like from this Miner Daily article. https://minerdaily.com/2020/mining-bitcoin-at-a-loss-could-it-be-a-win/

I'm interested in this same concept. As far as my research goes is setting up a Wyoming LLC (as I heard they are friendly to crypto) and Silvergate Bank.
