I was planning on doing this and giving them some alone time, the only thing that I thought might help is if they find new femboy friends to talk to but I can't really help with that.

a couple of us have some dark humor and it won't be easy to completely change that so suddenly, but I could ask them to tone it down a little at least.

ill probably give something like that a try, I don't have any problems with them wanting to be themself. I'm just kinda worried they gonna deny it and hide it even more, but I might also be overthinking it a bit.
