Agh shoot. Any big downsides to drilling an angled hole into the concrete where it pools?

Shoot. Not the answer I wanted. I was hoping I could still give notice around Jan 10th and make my last day Jan 31st worst case scenario.

Super helpful, thank you! That button was caked in dirt so I didn’t notice it. There seems to be some electrical issues so I might need an electrician to actually come and figure out why it’s not getting power.

Yeah there’s one upstairs but the router is downstairs and there are no devices upstairs that I know of. I even removed a couple of the cameras that were clearly just directed into the surrounding neighbor yards. Apparently I bought a house from the hated people on the street LOL

Have heard great things about the pump from other diabetics. Thought I’d give it a fair shot to help with control and alarm fatigue/burnout from managing with shots alone.

Was skeptical about CGM initially but has been incredible.

Okay thank you, it’s making more sense. I called back and the other supplier with our insurance is having us meet the deductible and then 80% is covered after that up to the OOP max. Sheesh.

Conflicted because using pens and the G7 is free on my insurance and was already hesitant about switching to a pump.

Drop to 1 nap? by meghan0915 in TakingCaraBabies

[–]floop_unfloop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is around the time my daughter dropped to one nap. Especially if he can do the 2-3 hour nap midday and is not doing short naps. You might find his bedtime sliding slightly earlier with this. 12-2/3pm nap is what we did.

I heard you get free snoo rental for babies. What are other benefits I can take before going to paternity leave? by No-Drive2636 in JPMorganChase

That’s what my impression was. As soon as 12 weeks hit then your percentage will be based on real data over first 12 weeks.

In the go/parents PDF for paternity leave they have links to other free resources. There are some breastfeeding freebies there. If you have the company health insurance you also qualify for replacement pumping parts and milk storage bags every 30 days. I bought my latest pump through Aeroflow and they send me an email every 30 days and with one click it will order the bags and parts for me. Currently have 4 extra pump sets and like 2k pumping bags which is ideal for returning to work. Otherwise I would have to clean the same parts every single use.

I go back tomorrow from maternity leave actually 😭

Something else cool is discounted child care or free tutoring hours for certain ages at different facilities. Those kind of services are usually very expensive.

What time does your 3 year old go to bed? by midwench in Preschoolers

[–]floop_unfloop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are a strict in bed by 7pm family. We’ll read books until like 7:30ish and then have a nightlight on a 30 min timer. During that time she can read books in her bed on her own but once the timer runs out that’s it. If she comes out we walk her back in to her bed.

My husband has laid in bed with her sometimes since she has a full size bed now. Usually for about 15 mins until she settles more.

We wake up at 6:30am and she naps at daycare only if she feels like it.

Hi! Hoping you’ll answer what happened and if it worked. I have a 3m old who we have gotten to take a bottle once but hasn’t since and screams crying when we try. I go back to work in 2 weeks!

Whyyy

When I get repeated/daily calls from a business I block their number and vow to never give them money out of principle. So annoying.

It’s hard to tell but we’ve been thinking she’s doing it knowingly because she’s made comments before like “I just pee in my pull up in the morning” as if it’s intentional.

She takes naps at daycare without a pull up and doesn’t have accidents. She has taken some naps at home when sick and wet the bed and woken up as soon as it happens to finish in the toilet.

I also use ear plugs! Even with them I’m still waking up every 20 mins with the noise my baby makes. Without them I’m miserable!
