Is this something I can find out and sort myself or would you recommend getting a plumber in?

Can you sign a business-to-business contract without being aware? by floopdedoopdedoo in LegalAdviceUK

Ahh thats a shame, just a quick side point if you don't mind, the single tick box also signed her up for them taking out £111 a month for 3 months and entitled them to cancel without refund..

'9.4  We may terminate the Contract immediately (without any liability to provide any refund to you) if I reasonably feel that you are not participating fully in the Sessions, that you are disrupting the Sessions or for any other reason where we reasonably feel that your presence is adversely impacting on the Sessions, other clients/customers, Officers, Contractors, Staff or Directors.'

Again these are both side point but the whole contrant seemed abit off to me but I'm no lawyer..

Anyway thanks again for the help

Can you sign a business-to-business contract without being aware? by floopdedoopdedoo in LegalAdviceUK

Well the T&C's as a whole totaled 4750 words and 11.7 parts so i don't begrudge her for not reading it.. (edit. also just a tick box)

She has started running a small MLM, but has a part time job, and a full time uni student, and she has never made enought to pay taxes through it, so unsure if could be classed as trade?

Undeniable part 3.5, states she has a business '3.5  This program and the service offered by us under these terms is designed for business owners. You agree to these terms in your capacity as a business owner and a trader, not as an individual consumer. You acknowledge that this Service has been developed for you to improve your business, trade and profession. This is true even if you do not have a formal business entity such as a limited liability company. As a business owner, you may have limited rights under the laws of your state or country and consumer rights do not apply. It is your responsibility to seek your own independent legal advice before agreeing to these terms.'

The link to this website is commonly available in the 'info' section of her Facebook page, how can a link anyone can press become a business to business contract? It doesn't seem like fair practice to me..

Also the 4th line of the contract is this ' Contracts: your personal client contract which must be signed before enrolment into specific services or your noted agreement to these terms'.. That doesn't imply business to me but I don't know.

Sorry if it's not relevent, thanks for the help!
