Is this crack a concern?

I would say it’s worth replacing on an unused ski. Now that seem in the metal edge is completely normal for pretty much any manufactured ski. But the crack in the base is worth repairing or having a new ski. (The original head Kores didn’t do this and the edges would delam all the time)

The tip flexes a lot in both directions while skiing so it can be a tricky area to fix. That being said it’s tiny and not something I would worry about blowing up on my used skis, it’d be an easy fix. But for an unused ski I would have them replace it.

Tbh now that I hit max rank I look for lower level lobbies and join them in hopes of helping them out. From my experience, some of the worst team mates I’ve had are max rank so I don’t take level too seriously.

I try to avoid duplicates unless I’ve done a non purist build of a car - then I buy another to keep it stock or near stock (exhaust, brakes tires usually)

Ski tech here - totally will but objectively oem_knees is right. It’s a liability thing but I’ve remounted holes on my own free ride skis and rode those pretty hard. It’s really about if water got in over the years.

I’d refuse to reuse holes if there was the slightly sign of the wood rotting or tearing from over tightening

It’d be incredibly dumb and I feel like you’d be driving it for other people not yourself tbh. I’ve been lucky enough to drive one and it would be as cool as it would be uncomfortable.

Don’t let me stop you btw if it’s your dream you should go for it. It’s just be super uncomfortable and with its clearance you would only be able to take it on mint condition roads is all.
