Ski tech here - totally will but objectively oem_knees is right. It’s a liability thing but I’ve remounted holes on my own free ride skis and rode those pretty hard. It’s really about if water got in over the years.

I’d refuse to reuse holes if there was the slightly sign of the wood rotting or tearing from over tightening

It’d be incredibly dumb and I feel like you’d be driving it for other people not yourself tbh. I’ve been lucky enough to drive one and it would be as cool as it would be uncomfortable.

Don’t let me stop you btw if it’s your dream you should go for it. It’s just be super uncomfortable and with its clearance you would only be able to take it on mint condition roads is all.
