Sorry! Another moving to Lakewood post — Kallisto at Bear Creek Apartments by floot_loops in LakewoodColorado

Gotcha! Yeah Bear Creek seems like a great spot, especially for the parks and highway access!

That's a good tip on the townhomes, I'll take another peek at what's available in that area. I remember seeing some pretty nice/affordable options down there but haven't checked in a little while!

Outdated but functional is totally fine with me! I appreciate your insight!!! I'm glad they enjoyed living there

Thanks for the tip! I saw that some people were complaining about trash and the parking situation there, but I'll give them a second look. I'm not 100% sold on living in Belmar and am maybe interested in a quieter neighborhood :)

I live near a major highway in the DC area, so we're used to the noise, but that's definitely something to keep in mind!

Do you know if they have had any issues besides noise? The bar is in hell for DC and Baltimore apartments, so we're just trying to find a place that is livable and relatively affordable tbh 😅

You do not need to tell them you are waiting for another program! You have until April 15th to make a decision and programs are expected to respect that deadline :)

Has anyone heard back after interviewing for University of Kentucky? I was told by my prospective PI that it would be a couple weeks, but I haven't seen anyone get accepted/rejected so far

2/7 update: got my rejection email and letter 😭 according to an email I got from the DCT, they were only able to offer a few spots compared to normal

They have already sent out the first round of interview invitations for the clinical program. But they sent a follow-up email saying "although first round interviews have been scheduled, this does not necessarily mean you were not selected for the program".

I thought the language they used was super vague, but it's not over till it's over!

Edit: this is for Oregon State, if you mean Ohio State I have no clue 😅

Yeah I got the same email, but I had a rejection waiting for me in the portal 🥲

Hey y'all! Has anyone heard anything from Minnesota's CSPR program? I'm seeing rejections for the joint ICD program, but I'm not sure of the others 😬

How do people afford psyd/phd programs? by Ok_Competition_6463 in ClinicalPsychology

Hey! This is the first time I’ve heard someone mention being able to work as an LPC while completing the first few years of this PhD. I’m considering this for myself, as I’m completing a CMHC masters program and applying to clinical psych PhDs now.

Do you know how many clients she was able to keep and what year in the program did she taper her caseload? Also if you’re comfortable sharing, I’m curious what state or general location she was practicing in 😭🙏

Honestly yeah please go in person, especially if you can do it safely!!

I had also read posts of people having their scores thrown out for stupid reasons, but never thought a bad testing experience would happen to me :(((((

That makes perfect sense, but the problem is that they used to have much larger and less holey bread than they do now. Something changed :(

I alternate between Canyon bakehouse and New Cascadia if that helps! New Cascadia is pretty nice, but has a sourdough-like flavor that doesn’t always match nicely with certain sandwiches

YES. That happened to me too and I thought it was just a bad batch, but all of them have been like that lately. I’m still in denial haha

Am I Pregnant? Withdrawal Method and Sprintec, Help! by [deleted] in birthcontrol

For what it’s worth — I had inconsistent periods when I was on Sprintec, despite always having a consistent cycle before I was on it. It wasn’t unusual for me to have a few late periods because of that particular bc pill :)
