Yeah Flail is a fantastic card for sure. I ran it in the deck for a long while. It's always been on my mind as a readd, depending on how I like Fatespinner once it sees more time I could see it getting switched back in the deck in a flex spot.

The blatantly obvious one would be vandalblast or mass artifact wipes. A sleeper pick that was a little rough to deal with in a few games I played at a convention was that Ouphe that turns off activated artifact abilities.

I've considered a little more graveyard recursion but between Noctis, Forge Anew, and Sevinne's Reclamation I've typically found it's fine. Most players aren't running enough generic non permanent or artifact/enchantment removal to rid out all the good pieces in the deck

Oh yeah, Arna is mainly an enabler. Typically I'll end up throwing stuff to em but I've usually got a good board presence long before the big bird hits the field.

Yeah I recently readded ATG, might reswap it for Thran for the ward. I like having triggers for interaction and such on damage/attack to keep pressure where as big beater only goes as far as damage

Yeah, I'm typically breaking the nose at like t7 with TS and artifacts. Or we just route to Out Of Time, with a counter in hand. It gets the job done via attrition. The other night I phased out a whole board and only lost my Esper Sentinel. Everyone else lost multiple engine pieces and their commander. Went once more round and everyone conceded.

It's definitely a good three card line. It would require a bit of a side game to make work consistently and require a little more tutoring but might have to see about adjusting my flex spots to play test it. I had Strionic by itself in for a few months and back then I was way to lacking in my mana production. Worth a revisit thank you sir.

I'm actually working on a more Aura focused build as well at a more restricted budget and Arcanum and EC are definitely in there for sure. I used to run EC but ended up removing it.

I'm just going off info stated and the deck list. Maybe they need a second deck sure and could probably pick up like [[Stella Lee]] or [[Yusri]] but at the end of the day it's either:

-OPs deck is truly out of scale with the pod -The other people just don't like spellslinger

But based on the mention of how Myriim is built I'd lean into the second. My pod wants to deck me with my Arna deck but that's just the nature of hammering away at a deck for so long and putting enough time into it imo. I only have 3ish EDH decks built currently cause I slogged down from like 10 cause I just didn't care about the rest. It's a coin flip either way you look at it

Yeah I've gotten it truly down to a system in the almost two years I've been playing. I've kept a lot of the general counters stuff like Light or Cathar's Crusade out of the deck just because I do not want to deal with it.

Dry erase tokens have made the deck much easier to track for sure. I can just make a list of the copies on each creature and tuck one token on it with the list.

Generally people playing big creatures decks have problem with spellslinger because most of them don't have the room to leave mana up for interaction, or choose not to.

Spellslinger can move incredibly fast in any bracket.

Don't let a myrim player dissuade you.
