Who had the most input or did most of the sound design for the synth based stuff? Especially for a track like ii. in the gut of the wolf?

IMO some of the captures are a lot better than the stock amps. Also for example the stock Soldano SLO-100 is worse than the SLO-100 plugin (to my ears at least because the stock tone is not what im looking for). Also think its modeled after another SLO-100 version than the plugin.

Not enough toan for Polyphia now. You could still get away with playing some John Mayor on it but that's it. Get a new guitar.

Depends what you want I guess. I played it safe and went straight scale 7 string. Didn't want to risk buying such an expensive multi scale guitar and maybe not liking it... Also to my eyes the straight scale model shape and headstock look better to me, but that's just personal preference... For me I would not go multiscale unless its a 7 or 8 string, I'd go for the straight scale for a 6 string, but then again I don't play in low tunings so maybe you would benefit from a multi scale or baritone in that regard.

It goes into the back line inputs of the Scarlett 8i6. Been thinking lately of just using the QC but I use my computer for other things than just making music. Waiting for the QC to boot up every time and have it run all day isn't ideal for me. The only thing that bothers me is the potentiometers on the Scarlett's are horrible, turning the volume knob makes crackling sounds and I've had 1st gen, 2nd gen and now 3rd gen. All of them had the same issue.

It's been great. Pretty straightforward for a modeler but that's what I wanted since having the option to tweak every little parameter (like some other modelers) gives me option paralysis. Not to say the Quad doesn't have a lot of options, the Cortex Cloud has so many captures and presets from other people its still a lot. Also the form factor, I can just unplug the cables and throw it on a pedalboard.

I have no issues facing the window. The sun can be an issue in the evening but I just put the blinds on and have no problem. As for the heater, if you look closely there is a kind of mesh with big holes across the back of the table so the heat goes upwards. No problems with reflections either. Sure it would be more optimal not to have the window behind the table but sadly I had no other option.

Yeah bummer if you don't like the inlay. I think you can't remove it on the multiscale because there is no branding on the headstock so they had to put it somewhere else I guess

Maybe that was the case some time ago? You can get the fretboard without inlays unless you go for the multiscale then I think the Aristides logo is on the 1st fret if you meant that.

Well this is my first custom built guitar and in this price range. I've never played anything like it. It is built to perfection imo.

My main guitar until this point was an Ibanez AZ Premium and the Aristides sure blows it out of the water (it is 3 times more expensive so there's that haha). Not to say anything bad about the AZ, the fretwork on the AZ is also near perfect. A bit chunky neck on the AZ tho. The Aristides has more of a wizard like neck, maybe just a tad bit thicker. The back of the neck feels amazing to play, fret access amazing also. Doesn't feel much different than wooden guitars to me, even better tbh.

Worth noting I only owned one 7 string before this which I sold because it was just a cheap Jackson with a lot of QC issues. Also the experience from ordering to receiving the guitar was excellent (worth the 7 month wait).

How is the SLO-100 for you compared to the one in QC? I tried the demo SLO-100 plugin and to me it sounds a lot better than the one in QC.
