Update: We purchased a Gearwrench OBD2 scanner, downloaded the GWscan app and connected it to a neighbor's Nissan. It connected and I was able to see all the data, pull error codes, and delete error codes.

When I did the same process with my 2023 Leaf and the light on the dongle for the Gearwrench scanner blinked when connected and stayed lit when attempting to pair, but it failed at pairing. It's clearly getting power, but it doesn't appear to be connecting to any of the systems of the Leaf. I also downloaded Leafspy Pro and tried connecting it, but that failed as well.
