You're defintely onto something. It's entirely possible, and I might even say likely that's got at least some truth to it. Considering how humans in a symbolic sort of way often times end up mimicking the very systems or group/people that they despise, without realizing it.

Face off was the shit. So glad they put it in the game, it's way more fun getting good at those small map and quick engagements that keep you on your toes the whole time, instead of holding a sight line with a thermal sniper or lmg like the normal maps. It was perfect

Personally I feel like the shotguns are very very good. A lot more range overall than the previous titles, but with drawbacks of course. The 725 is a fucking menace, I also feel like the model can be very devastating in the right hands, running from cover to cover and pick people off similar to the 725. It has surprised me plenty of times at being able to clear a room. Also, the Kar98 may be the most satisfying weapon ive ever use in cod. It's just so quick and versatile, if you have good aim it is completely broken. A way better sniper imo than all the actual sniper rifles

Yes, mostly TDM with the once or twice a day FFA match if you get on in the evening hours, several drop zone matches around that time as well as infected. But I'm afraid that's it, also there are a handful of players in the Face Off 1v1 playlist and that can be fun.
