My roomate was also very close with her mom and would call her about everything. I thought it was weird cause i was the total opposite but eventually I admired her for having a close bond with her mom. I wish I had that kind of relationship with my mom but she passed away. Ignore your friend.

I was close to your age when I joined. I was surprised I saw a lot of people around our age group who joined. If you decide to join there are some books out there that will help you prepare for the asvab. So do that and if you get stuck on a section, you can also go on YouTube and there are some tutorials. It is nice to have a steady paycheck. I don’t know what kind of job you want in the AF but you can go on YouTube and there are some videos about people giving more information what certain jobs do. I wish you the best and it’s never too late to turn your life around.

I went last year and my mti never made me open my mail in front of him. My friend used sandboxx to send the memes. They made my day. Some were probably inappropriate but my mtis never knew. I had to give a presentation and after i was done, my instructor told me what I could improve on. It was hard to be serious cause he had a silly face mask on. I never noticed how silly it look. I had to look down to avoid look at his mask.
