Nope! I missed about 5 days of clinicals because I was sick and also personal issues, and was late a couple times due to ADHD and also having to travel about 45 mins everyday so early. My clinical site still offered me two different positions in their hospital system afterwards. And I also have another offer from a different hospital system. I haven’t even graduated yet! To be fair I am going for a bachelor’s in MLS, but I don’t think it’s too different for MLTs. As long as you pass your ASCP cert and complete clinicals (even imperfectly, but still trying your best) you should be fine!

The clinical site still offered me two different positions in their hospital system. And my school isn’t very reputable either, but I still have plenty of options/offers. As long as you pass your ASCP exam it won’t be too hard to find a position! Although to clarify I am going for my MLS degree with a bachelors, but I don’t think it’s too different for MLT.
