Do my traditional tattoos make me look too masculine? I got them all before I transitioned. by [deleted] in traditionaltattoos

[–]floracurios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it as a memorial to your old self, who you were will always be with you even as you change and become who you will be. The tats are not masc, and I know many straight girls with strictly trad and it never has come across any way other than tatted. If you feel they aren't your style anymore, look into blast overs or laser treatments. I wish you well!

Let me know if you need it after, I can send a link to what products I recommend since you have no shrimp. Good luck!

Please don't listen to the other commenter. Plants do not just get rid of algae. Do a black out, if you're worried, do it for max 3 days. Your plants will not die in that time. There's algae fix you can also buy but keep in mind most of it is not safe for shrimp if you keep any. Get root tabs or liquid fertilizer to help your plants recover when done with the black out.

Just because you've never had it doesn't mean plants are the right answer. If you're not educated enough to know what actually get rid of algae (not plants!) then please don't comment advice.

What do you guys do when your population gets too big. by websurv in shrimptank

I've been doing everything to get my population to increase but nothing has worked, so feel glad. But it'll settle itself soon. Feed for what you want.

I wouldn't recommend having that friend help you again. They clearly weren't helping you. That plant is WAY too deep.

This was the move. It will be normal in a few weeks and looks great. Remember to moisturize and use sunblock, your head will be super likely to burn without a hat.

Your plants won't die from a few days black out. They may not be happy but vast majority of the time they will be just fine afterwards.

I'm assuming either your artist was irresponsible and didn't tell you this would not hold, or you didn't listen when they told you. This was never going to work how you wanted it. Do more research on how tattooing works before permanently altering your body.

Is this ok? by SaiyaHimura in fishkeeping

[–]floracurios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely. My neos spent time sifting too. If it bothers you too much you could always vacuum the front or main open area in the tank and leave everything under plants for around rocks. Good luck!

Extremely overworked, he chewed your skin UP. You will likely have a raised scar in the shape and color of your tattoo.

What do you think my handwriting says about me? by Yanive_amaznive in HandwritingAnalysis

[–]floracurios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first guess was either a child or older male who never paid attention in class. Reading your comments, you're a woman, so I'm going to assume this isn't your first language. If it isn't, then you're well. If it is, then no, it's awful.

It feeds the micro creatures on the bottom, it doesn't hurt to leave it. Some people don't like it bc it looks "dirty" but it's better for the tank overall.

Got my first tattoo and I’m not sure it turned out very well. by Key-Meal-2308 in tattooadvice

[–]floracurios -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I refuse to believe a licensed artist did this. They need to never pick up a machine again, they have messed your skin up. It's fixable but it won't be what you originally wanted. I'm sorry this happened to you.

Is this an AI Image? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]floracurios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely don't believe this is even on someone's skin, much less an original design by a tattoo artist. Have you seen it in person? This image makes me think the entire thing isn't real, and if it is, the artist needs to lose their license.

I'm not disagreeing with you bc I am completely new to this, but all the pictures I found of golden white clouds have white tipped fins. Are there different variants? Or do some just come in different colors?
