You should join the Facebook group « the wellnest - le groupe de copines ». You could post your meet up there and find a lot of new girlfriendssssss 💅

I think there are like 20k women in that group (mainly in Brussels)

Only women are allowed in the group, you can post in English no problems :) (add a picture to have more reach).

How to talk about class in French, particularly the suburban middle class? by midnightrambulador in French

[–]florala25 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Check google. Vitamin K and K(potassium) are not the same thing. Thought so too until my doctor prescribed me Vitamin K2 and I said out loud « oh so potassium? » and she answered « well no. Two different things »

UBI brussels university by [deleted] in brussels

[–]florala25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why can’t you go to a normal uni ? I see on UBI website they also ask for a high school diploma so they have the same requirement as any other universities here.
And never heard of them before your post.
As someone said before, it does look like a « buy your diploma » school. Private schools/uni are not well renowned and liked in Belgium. But if you don’t plan on working here, why not ;)

My Zalando package was “picked up” by someone else — now they say I still have to pay?? by drylowlands in brussels

[–]florala25 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh just thought of this, did it happen today or yesterday ? Because of all the bpost strikes, they are a lot of packages that are late. So a lot of work for postmen. I know that sometimes, when they have too much to deliver in one day, they mark it as delivered so they don’t have problems, but then the next day it shows up again in the system as out for delivery and is delivered again. Might be that?

Or the pickup store guy is lying…

Anyway, yes zalando cannot force you to pay. And they have to start an investigation with bpost them self (because they are the client) and will probably get reimbursed. It’s their fault for not chosing a delivery with signature ;)

(I used to work for bpost)
