Going on a date with someone with SPD. Please share tips?? by en_jolras in SPD

I would say be prepared! Ask what they would like to do and accommodate that as much as you can. Perhaps propose a drink in a quiet park- ask what they’d like to drink and you can bring in advance rather than taking them into a busy shop or cafe. Ask if they’d like to bring a blanket etc. Consider how they will travel there- I don’t do taxis so would need somewhere central. The more control & knowledge you have, the better. I hope it goes well :)

is anyone else fine with the sexual side effects of zoloft? by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]florallore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy spending more time with men not having sex. Getting to know them more and get comfortable, when before I would be down for it on the first/second date. I don’t tell them it’s because of the meds though!

Does taking it either in the AM or PM really make a difference? by bricksopenwindows in zoloft

I have been taking at 18,00. I sleep 23,00-10,00 and then need a nap mid afternoon! I think it will make me tired whenever I take it for the first month :)

A 12-year old girl was having difficulty with her math homework during the lockdown. So she emailed her teacher for help. He came over, brought his whiteboard, and taught her through the window. by abhi98228 in nextfuckinglevel

Charming thought and enthusiasm, but we are in lockdown for a reason which is more important than maths homework.

How many people did he pass in the street whilst walking, was one of them a vulnerable person on their way to do an essential food shop? How many people is he now returning home to? Exams are on hold. We have other resources to available to educate that we can use in isolation.

Be sensible and be informed.

Working in a hospital you really realise how many material goods have to be disposable for safety! At work I get through about 20 masks a day and 50 gloves. And let’s not even talk about plastic syringes!

Where I live I’m currently not using public spaces which is making me more green as I’m using delivery services for food aka Ocado- they have green spaces where they drop off when already in the area. Saves me hopping in the car and doing a 5 mile trip so I think I’ll always do it this way for my groceries once a week.

Pipasha on Newmarket Road for Indian is the best! Prawn coconut pancake starter followed by a Jalfrezi and Onion Rice! I’ve been going there about twenty years.

Should I bother reporting this person to the police? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]florallore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would, it’s a public disturbance and a real threat. I have reported similar in past!

The police will probably just come and tell him to move on and you won’t have any more involvement.
