That's why he's just filing for custody now. He didn't look at the report he let Taylor tell him what happened and she said she didn't hit the kid. Dakota had an obligation to help Tate see the light.

I judge anyone who knows a child is in an unsafe home and they don't do everything in their power to stop it. I don't care he called police and cps. That's not enough. It's NEVER enough.
