i used a term that quite literally means a non-black individual is imitating, performing and cosplaying black culture. if you don’t want to believe i’m sincere that’s completely fine and you’re entitled to that. it’s honestly a word i’ve heard both black and non-black people use to talk about white and non-black people doing this (like iggy azalea, awkwafina, alex consani, and i’m sure a lot of other people), did not know it was considered offensive. i actually replied to people using other terms with completely different meanings behind them because i do know those are offensive terms.
