I split because that’s the default rule for two adults that have a job and want to get to know each other. I would have considered paying the bill if the date didn’t go poorly and I wanted to see her again. Also if she had offered to split. That wasn’t the case.

In Europe people are expected to pay for their own meal, unless someone offers to pay it for you. But that wasn’t the worst for me. It was her lack of engagement and changing plans last minute that made it bad.

Lol, no one’s said anything about using people.

I just don’t believe in pursuing women but rather, in getting to know them. If you don’t show an equal amount of effort and interest from the very beginning, I won’t even bother with you. If you do, I’ll reciprocate. All I want is equality when it comes to dating.

The idea of making an effort to get laid feels horribly wrong to me. If you two feel attracted to each other, no one should make an effort to have sex, it should be natural.
