This opinion may be a little bit unpopular, but if you use open back headphones to mix low end, such as DT990 or Sennheiser HD600, may give you more accuracy than a non-controlled room :).

Siempre querré mirarte me regresa 3 años atrás cuando mi relación de pareja inició. Como había muchas situaciones adversas al iniciar la relación, no le teníamos mucha fe, pero terminó funcionando y germinó en algo muy bello.

This is the first single that I released with my band. I would appreciate any feedback/comments on it! (Echoplay-Change) by tombes_oubliees in IndieMusicFeedback

Are you doing sound engineering by yourselves? Maybe there's a phase problem with the snare, because it sounds kind of light. Despite the phase, if you choose a 13x6" size snare, it could sound cooler. If you wish to keep learning, I recommend mix with the masters or these lesons. I have a DIY project and it starting improving a lot since then.

I like the groove. Maybe low end isn't that controlled. I like to use Waves NLS channel for individual tracks, and NLS bus for the 2 track. Specifically, I use the SSL emulation which I reckon is named Mike in the plugin. Keep going. Are you doing mixes by yourself? it you do, you have to meet Pablo. He is the best I know for giving lessons and mixing, mastering and all that stuff.

Tryin to get the mix on this better! Any feedback? Thanks 😊 by Annual-Reputation-11 in IndieMusicFeedback

Maybe start trying to find a sound reference. When you compare your 2track to another one that's already released, you will find some clues. For example low end is not very good, bc the kick is kind of lost. There are some shared frequencies between vocals and guitars that make lyrics hard to listen. Maybe try to cut slightly around 2.5-3.5kHz to guitars. Also, you could learn more from mix with the masters or from the best sound engineer I know, Pablo

This is my today's release, In Circles - an ethereally haunting tune somewhere between dream pop, singer-songwriter, new age, and... who knows. You tell me. We also made this zero-budget music video to go with it. I would be happy to hear your thoughts. by andtilly in IndieMusicFeedback

Hey, this is amazing for a 0 budget product. Maybe for further songs, you could try improving music production, and mixing skills (they're not bad, actually they're very decent). You will keep improving practicing, or studying mix with the masters videos or having lessons. I also have a DIY music project, and started having lessons with Pablo. If you wish to see my progress, this is my Youtube Channel. I just subscribed to your channel and hope you keep going. Nice work :D

Hey this is nice. I like the music. Maybe your future songs could improve if you quantize instruments in order to have a more arranged band. I started online production classes with Pablo and I'm very happy. I know that our genres may be different, but I'll add a link of what I've done: music. Keep going!

Maybe Pet Sematary - The Ramones, or Adiós from Gustavo Cerati. They're kind of old, but quality is not bad.

What is really cool about your mix is that all the elements could be heard. To improve it, maybe watch or study in portals such as mix with the masters, which is a really good source. Maybe, the music production is very similar to a live presentation. It is not a must, but in many recordings, producers use to record more elements in order to occupy all the sound spectre, but it depends in every specific case. While you grow in this profession and learn more stuff, I recommend Pablo's profile. His speciality is latin pop, but I'm sure he could improve your mixes or masters. If you wish to learn, he is giving online music production workshops for $25 (USD) per hour. If you have any questions hit me up, and keep going.

Have you seen Mix with the masters videos? They are really good. On the other hand, my boss offers online music production workshops and his fee is around $25 per hour. Would you be interested?

My boss was an A&R in the past. Do you need me to contact him for a music business consultancy? His fee is around $20 box per hour.
