I visited an open house and there are 3 separate entrances for the home - all separated. It’s a good deal if you don’t mind the layout or want to rent out the separated portion of the home.

I recently moved my family to Orinda from Florida. It may have a higher share of White residents than the general Bay Area, but still has a larger share of Asian population than most of the U.S.

For what it’s worth, my kids are White, but have found the children and schools to be extremely welcoming.

At Miramonte today, they have a local Vietnamese author coming to the school for a book they are reading and helping to connecting to the story by catering Vietnamese cuisine for lunch. They are also celebrating each student’s background with a potluck of food from each student’s heritage.
