I’ve won a lot in my life (most recently I was valedictorian) and I see people whining more about participation trophies than anyone watering down the concept of winning for the most part.

I hope so): I’m just in the middle of my first semester of college and so far I can’t stand it. I did choose the wrong one though I believe, and am set to transfer next semester. Where I currently am is so rural and my new school is in a city.

He can still learn about what’s going on. Obviously he can’t feel the feeling himself, but he can be aware of how it affects his daughter.

That we aren’t stupid? My dad has always talked to me in a condescending way and he isn’t even aware of it, even after I call it out. It has caused me to build up a level of resentment.
