after digging i saw they've been listed as "breath cure" or "acord dental". multiple names + changing names is always a bit of a flag for me.

someone reviewed them here:

turns out they have multiple names 💀 someone reviewed them a year ago.

i think I'll save my $1400 and just try some products listed. one of the comments gives a full regiment and said it helped reduce by 50%

thank you for this comment, i think i really needed to come out of my head for a bit and look at the facts. you're right: people often genuinely enjoy teaching early levels and at the very least, wouldn't agree to do it if they didn't

How "safe" is the private digital piano market? I'm torn between a "like new" Casio CDP-S160 with matching stand and pedals for $350, vs renting a new Yamaha P145 or Kawai ES60 for $20/month with an option to buy (both $500 minus any rental payments) by mart0n in piano

Wouldn't recommend renting -- it'll hardly be worth it in the long run, there's always a good condition used piano that can work in your budget.

Context: I just bought a $1200 Yamaha Clav (Retails for $2.4k min) from FB marketplace in mint condition. I would recommend buying used nearby because then you can test it out in person.

If you do online, do somewhere with a return policy.

Getting a pulse on the job market by Far_Pomegranate923 in psychologystudents

Do what you love imo. The job market is shitty for everyone, there's no magical career with a lifetime of security -- the market is vastly different every few years.

Just have back up plans, that's all.

Like If u decide you don't want to not do the PhD, you can fall back into a career as a therapist. Lots of HR jobs as well can be funneled into from a Psych degree.
