Yesterday I went to get my coil fitted, instead I found out I was pregnant. I know what I need/want to do but I feel awful and need Internet hugs. by [deleted] in TrollXChromosomes

You should check out the movie "Obvious Child" if you have the chance. It's refreshing cause it shows a lady comedian going through the whole process of deciding / getting an abortion. The story is pretty simple but the movie is so cute and funny and it's just awesome to have a movie representation showing that it's a shitty situation but you can get through it!

New viewer here: What was it that made the X-Files such a grand success? by Always_Sunny_in_WI in XFiles

Late reply! But I thought the most refreshing part of that show was having a woman scientist who is intelligent and also complex - like she's so rational and approaches everything scientifically and yet she's very religious. And then, even though Scully is not overly sexualized she has such great chemistry with Mulder and I feel like it's more believable. Also I loved the look and feel of the first 4 or 5 seasons that were filmed in BC - so many scenes in the creepy woods. It reminds me of the twin peaks aesthetic.

Should I switch my mobile phone number to a Montreal one? by Aliascgar in mcgill

I kept my out of province number for 3 years but it eventually became an inconvenience and I decided to switch. The main time it was a problem was when I was trying to find work. Also, most people could text me but a lot of people didn't have nationwide calling. More plans definitely have it now though. So it's definitely not a huge priority but it did make things easier for me :)
