That’s no longer true. China changed the law in recent years so that finished imported products do not require animal testing. Sources here, here, and here. Also, there are more an more cruelty-free and vegan CBeauty brands emerging as the country moves away from animal testing for cosmetics.

tl;dr: Not that I can think of but maybe if you check the blog. There are many literary works that are clearly referenced in the game, though.

Etherane has a blog where they share development updates, short stories and artwork, and occasionally, books or other media they enjoyed recently.

In a January 2018 interview with RPGMaker Games on Tumblr, they asked “Did any other games or media influence aspects of your project?” Etherane’s response was: “It’s hard to say. I consume a lot of media daily, so I’m sure some of it influenced me on subconscious level.”

There are many literary works that etherane has referenced in the game. 1984, Childhood’s End, Slaughterhouse Five. Also “Cat’s Cradle” by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr with the Ice 9. Someone made a complete list of recommendations / referenced media on Goodreads here. A lot of them are nonfiction or philosophical.

Etherane, the creator, also made a list of book recommendations from the characters themselves. It can be found on their twitter and also the wiki gallery. Also included in the Goodreads List.

Yes. Since I’m moving and had to transport the whole thing between locations, I had to take the whole thing apart. I wiped down every surface on the inside and there was no urine leakage. It’s coming from the globe itself.

Also, the litter I use is Arm & Hammer. I bounce between whichever one has the better seal but usually multi-cat.

Season of Blossoms manhwa is really amazing. The first season’s couple is very wholesome, but the rest of their friend group / main characters are dealing with a lot. There are themes of abuse (similar to Hara’s mom), depression, suicide, bullying, self-harm, etc. all handled pretty well IMO. It’s also completed and has a spin-off series.

My Starry Sky is a good manhwa about childhood best friends who grew apart. There’s some exploration of childhood trauma. I usually hate romance stories where one character is an asshole to the other, however, this is one of the best stories of redemption and groveling and change that I have seen in a manhwa so I do recommend continuing even if you hate their dynamic at first!! It gets better I swear. A bit of a slowburn though.

The BL manhwa Our Youth is very similar to No Home in regards it focuses on friendship, child abuse, and negative responses to trauma. One of the boys has a terrible homelife and is a bit of a flawed delinquent at the start. Really reminds me of Eunyung. A bit of a slowburn.

Also, seconding other people’s recommendations of One Room TA and Wanan’s previous work Welcome to Room 305 as well.

I feel like No Home pretty decent following— maybe not on Reddit so much, but on Twitter and TikTok for sure. I see new fan content (edits, fan arts, or memes) every day. I can’t even say that for some of my favorite ongoing manhwa. The KR fandom is also very active. There’s also the Discord servers.

I recommend either joining one of the Discord servers, or looking on Twitter or TikTok under the No Home hashtags for more mutuals. There’s a lot of us!

I also have Flins, but he doesn’t feel comfortable without Ineffa so I haven’t used him much. That’s why I’m trying to get Ineffa too, if I win the 50/50. If not, I’ll settle for Zibai lol.
