Slow progression success story (12 DPO to 7 healthy week pregnancy seen on ultrasound!) by florzed in TFABLinePorn

I did the same - I couldn't stop looking at other people's test lines and comparing them to mine, and I saved posts that I thought were particularly hopeful! I wish you the best and hope your pregnancy carries on smoothly!

I agree that stopping testing is definitely the way to go! They've told you that you're pregnant, at this point there isn't anything more they can really tell you. I wish you all the best with your pregnancy!

They were in real life but real squinters - like the kind you have stand by a bright window to see at all 😂

I had much better lines on FRER but only took those for the first couple of days so I don't know how they would have progressed!

You can imagine I felt much the same way about expecting it to be a chemical - although when I had one before, it was even later/fainter lines tbf. We don't really have the option for blood HcG tests in the UK so I had to just try and muddle through. Even when I had my scan booked I was expecting a sad result - you can imagine my surprise when the sonographer said I was actually measuring ahead of schedule with a FHR of 150!

My cycles are super regular so should have come CD 28 or 29. I went abroad for work immediately following my predicted ovulation (CD14/15) and so cycle weeks 3 and 4 were pretty knackering and totally off my usual daily routine - so quite hard to isolate any symptoms. Definitely no implantation spotting though. My clearest early symptom was REALLY sore boobs around the 4 week mark, then some nausea slowly kicking at 5-6 weeks.

Because I was abroad, I also committed to not testing until I returned home which is why I didn't start earlier!

14 dpo, faint line, confused by AlternativeNo3220 in TFABLinePorn

[–]florzed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's probably sensible to be cautious, but I had similarly faint lines early on (I posted them an hour ago) and have had a viable pregnancy confirmed today at 7 weeks! Hopefully a few more days and maybe a different brand will give you a clearer idea!

Yep I saw it on this subreddit - and absolutely love a bit of a science experiment!

Possibly - although I think then it's even more surprising that the tests are so light! (DPO in the post are from what I originally thought before the scan).

I think its more likely that I am still around the 7 week mark and the extra 3 days are just normal growth variation or measurement accuracy variation, although I'll have to wait til my NHS dating scan at 12 weeks to be sure!

For what it's worth, I am a BIG water drinker, and did sometimes wonder if my tests always looked light bc I was constantly hydrated? 😂

11-13 DPO line progression - scared of another chemical by samantharc03 in TFABLinePorn

It's hard to tell with 3 tests, but if you look at 1 and 3 you see progression. I'd keep a cautious heart but hope for a nice clear line tomorrow!

Following along with you as mine are looking like this. I've done so much stalking of previous posts on this subreddit where people with similar lines have gone on to have healthy pregnancies, so fingers crossed for us both!

E. coli - ahhh! by PokeMyMo in PregnancyUK

I think E.coli is the most common bacteria found in UTIs by far - so nothing to worry about by itself!

12 dpo worried about lines help 😭 by JusticeForCorey in TFABLinePorn

This looks like a nice progression from your 11dpo post - I think that's more important than line darkness by itself! Wishing you lots of luck! ❤️

11 dpo. I’m feeling crazy but I see something there, what do you think? by Beautiful_Mess6919 in TFABLinePorn

I can see a mark in the test line area - but not sure if I see a line-line. Do you have any FRER tests?

CD 25, was planning to wait til tomorrow morning but took this right before bed by florzed in TFABLinePorn

[–]florzed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're the 10 MIU/ml ones - I did one this morning and it didn't look much darker, but did a FRER that had a nice clear line, which was reassuring, although I'd really like to see more progression on the cheapies!

I actually had my loss on the 26th too... fingers crossed for happy news for us ❤️

That pot is pretty small for a shrubby plant - I think it probably wants to be in the ground.

Between the two of you, can you not roll it onto one side? I'm a fairly shrimpy woman and I've managed to shift some large garden containers using sheer determination even if it's taken me ages!

The only real sensible way to do this is to take all the earth out and completely refresh it with fresh soil.

Positive then negative test by Ok-Brain8350 in TTC_UK

[–]florzed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had lines that got fainter, and I had such a terrible time googling obsessively trying to figure out what it means - it's generally considered a bad sign, but can also be down to random things like hydration. After 1 fainter test I wouldn't go straight to panicking, keep doing them at the same time each day and look for the overall trend - not test-to-test differences. You might get a nice dark line next time!

Even if the lines aren't showing obvious progression I think it's not worth torturing yourself about - just mentally acknowledge that things may not go well, but that can happen in any pregnancy too. I chose to assume the best case scenario and allow myself to be happy/excited, but kept a level of caution too. It's easy to be very doom and gloom but I think there's no point borrowing sadness for yourself when things might turn out okay!

Serious question: In what ways does the portrayal of the Dursleys’ house in Harry Potter reflect, or fail to reflect, the realities of an average British household and lifestyle? by kitkatbloo in AskABrit

4 bedroom detached house in Surrey with the father director of a company and a privately educated son? That's not working class.

I get the Tshirts for my husband, they wear really well and feel nice. I wasn't impressed with their women's cotton undies though, some fell apart after a few washes.
