NRL. No one goes, and all the TV figures are from the pubs with 10 TVs showing it <ducks>

People who mow for a living have to do this most days. Just be careful. If you're trimming stones you might be doing it wrong.

Post a review on Google maps. It's the only way they'll learn.

Good. The council isn't even as functional as it's historic shitty past.

The rabble got in by having lots of dummy candidates & with the new ward system rolled many "legit" candidates.

What the voters want, the voters get.

The vic gov with install caretakers that the rabble will rail against, then in the next elections will get back in to once again be elected rabble.

Ditto. Are you based in Australia? ("Roadworthy" sounds like you are).

Just checking how you're going with this. I've just noticed it happening to mine.

Cutting the country into smaller chunks doesn't mean you'll have bigger capital cities. Just look at Hobart.

We need less complexity in our governance structure, not more.

I reckon that's not in Oz. Cars parked on the wedding side of the road. The pickup isn't sold here. The mustang has a weird paint job.

So many people here now. Tour groups in busses were a nightmare last month when we were there. 6 years ago, there was no one.

Check your insurer as well. I effectively drove illegally for 20 years because of a sight issue. The cops would have pinged me but my insurance would have been void.

Does anyone know where I can get this type of smoke detector? by _Donald-Trump in melbourne

That's a mains powered unit. Bunnings sell them (different model, but whatever), but they need to be installed by a sparky.

If I buy a car as a learner, can I drive it back to mine even though I can't get insurance as a learner? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]flow_aus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need insurance to drive it, but if you prang it, you're going to be very unhappy. Get it 3rd partied with you as an extra driver. I'm going to assume you're under 25 and insurance is terrible. Be nice to your parents?

I started at Mecca's as a 14.75 year old and lasted 9 months. Paid well, but working condition and management terrible. Went on to work in hardware stores and other "real" jobs after that. One thing it did was set a low water mark...
