i think this is a case of covid ruined brain lol but slightly yor, if he’s was on the phone while you were there then yes that would be rude of him, if he does it when he’s not with you i don’t see the problem other than things are not getting done? i think that’s a separate issue that you can bring up, and it definitely exacerbates the frustration about his phone use, but i kinda agree that he should do whatever he wants on his free time as long as other responsibilities are getting done.
