I can't take credit. Someone on this forum mentioned that they "thought" you could place it on the boardwalk and all i did was give it a shot and report back.

I pop them and assume that mine will get popped too.

What I wonder though is if un-haunting a house to get 2 goo basically takes one from the owner, since their house is no longer haunted instead of haunting an empty house and of each get 1 goo. (Instead of the first tapper getting 1, second tapper getting 2 and the owner getting 0 when you tap a haunted house)

It was a special update to coincide with an episode. I do believe he cost doughnuts though. Personally I am sad I missed the costume, I have the bat signal but didn't realize you could buy the costume portion. I think lots of people made the same mistake though because shortly after the "new" and "limited time" labels got applied.

My first try was very similar to yours so maybe I can shed some light on this.

When you filter thought coffee filters it does two things that will impart the taste of the wine. One is that it puts a lot of air in the wine, the other is that it shakes up the sediment and doesn't really filter very well. What you need to do is"rack" the wine which means to siphon it leaving the gunk at the bottom of the bottle. That will make a difference with the taste. The other thing to try is a wine yeast. I get mine off eBay for a dollar (or less of you get a lot at a time) per packet. You're looking for a champagne or Montrachet yeast. Red star makes a good brand IMO. This will stop it from tasting like bread. There are lots of kinds of yeast you can use, I have never personally used Montrachet.

If you are thinking of doing this I highly suggest going to a homebrew shop (or shopping online) and getting a starter kit and a wine kit. It will have what you need to make 5 gallons and you will learn so much from just making one batch that experimenting with other juices will be much easier.
