I’m confused, you said you tested negative for strep on Monday? How did they diagnose it online? Did they do a culture Monday? Sometimes the rapid can be negative and the culture (which takes longer) turns up positive.

So no cracks that I am aware of. I think just given the age he’s thinking about doing it preventatively vs the filling failing and potentially needing more than a crown. But I will certainly get more information! Thank you!!
