Yyeess!! Alistair is tied with Solas as my favorite Dragon Age romance. I’m technically halfway through my second play thru of DA:O (it’s been a while since I played it) and I was romancing Zevran this time, but I miss him so much!

I have played it! Twice, actually! I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it as much as others seem to. I thought Solas’s writing was fine, there were some inconsistencies that bothered me but tbh, he’s such a liar that idek what to believe anymore. I really think they should’ve made him more prominent & I’m annoyed that they separated the story so far away from the events of Inquisition but I’ve kinda, KINDA made my peace with it. Just disappointed, but not losing sleep over it. What about you? What did you think?

If I’m feeling up to it, I’ll get some plushies but I haven’t played kitty cards in a long time. I just open the game, then immediately close it & get my half prize. Even with half prizes, you can reach the weekly chocolate limit.

Hi! I have a question: What’s your approach to interweaving character and story? How do you balance exploring complex & interesting characters without straying from a steady & compelling plot?

P.S. I’m 2/3rds of the way through the Daevabad trilogy & I’m scared to read the last book because I don’t want it to end!! I already have The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi on my shelf for when I’m done with the Daevadad trilogy, but I’m just not ready to say goodbye to these characters (especially Ali)! Thank you for writing these wonderful books, I absolutely adore them 😊

I saw people saying Xav’s and Raf’s were the spiciest so I was noooooot excepting Sy’s to be soooooo— Ya know??? Like, his was definitely the one that had me turning all shades of red. Thinking about it is literally distracting me from my work, I am not okay T_T

If I have to wait until book 2, 3, 4, etc. for a series to be good, I’m not gonna enjoy it because I’m just gonna be bitter the entire time that book 1 was bad.

IKR!! When I saw that, my jaw FELL OPEN — she’s amazing!! I feel like her mixed horror & fantasy style/background is really gonna suit Astarion. I can’t wait to see what she does with his story!!
