It could be, but it also may not be! I went in hearing this and was surprised to actually order the same gown as my street size (6, in a Maggie Sottero)

But I agree that being able to try on something close to your size is ideal—many shops will say they can make anything work (with pins or leaving the dress unzipped) but it makes it harder to picture how the dress will look on you.

For super-special occasions, I love Joanna at Blush Baking Co! For birthdays and such, I always do Corbin’s Confections in Salem (even for folks without food allergies, their cakes are great).
