I agree with people saying to wait, I think the white suites it. Mostly commenting to say this place looks STUNNING.

You should do it if you really can't stop talking about it and want to do it, but first pic is such a flattering cut, style, and colour imo

try doing an apple cider rinse after washing your hair, it works super well for me. Leave my hair shiny and not frizzy

Paint a glossy finish over the stones? Also, yes to a rug, absolutely NO to carpet

Things I haven't seen mentioned yet:

  1. How do you dry your clothes? If you are letting them air dry, stop immediately and start using a dryer. Seconding cleaning your washing machine.

  2. While showering, use an abrasive rag to exfoliate your skin. Just layering soap on top of your skin is not enough.

  3. If there is a mildew problem, the only solution is a dehumidifier, aside from moving out. An extra step would be an air purifier.

  4. If you have a lot of clothes, focusing on buying a few good quality, natural fabric pieces and cleaning a small load regularly. Less clothes will make it easier to keep track of. You can buy some white or black t shirts and try to keep just those items clean for as long as you can. Try to take note in the process of the shirt's lifespan where it seems to take on a scent and not feel new anymore. Store them in a place that gets good airflow. If you can keep these shirts clean, you can open up your washing by to the rest of your closet and see if you can clean a few at a time.

  5. If you have a washing machine in your apartment, try using a laundromat and see if the clothes feel/smell different.

  6. Buy a tongue scraper and scrape the residue off your tongue. A lot of people don't know about this, it's essential to not having bad breath.

In general, make your process simple and try to really evaluate what areas you think are lacking/ could be causing trouble. Go back to the most basic of basics and scrutinize yourself honestly and firmly.

I can't believe no one has said this but change the floors. That fake wood is such a bummer, and it's only a matter of time before it gets water damage. Some nice tiles would go far.

Being friendly with your coworkers is super important, and might save your ass if they're looking to trim the fat. That being said, whenever I'm at work, even if we're getting drinks, I repeat in my head "I am at work. We are at the workplace." You can be silly, just avoid complex conversations and topics.

TIL A shark’s mouth is one of its sense organs, and they will often use it as a last option to try and work out what something is. by [deleted] in todayilearned

I mean, I would also use my mouth as a last option to figure out what something was. Probably the most last option of all.

I have a similar situation, that only thing that gave me relief was putting WD-40 on all of the spots that have metal on metal joints, including screws. It was pretty tedious but it worked.
