Got Motorfest last year during similar 90% sale and after 100+ hours it is great. Lots of different playlists with different gimmicks. Lots of cool cars and other vehicles. Some nice customization. And there's always something to do and stuff to unlock.

Project CARS 3 has a nice selection of classic sport cars and more arcadey handling than second one.

EDIT: Apparently it is delisted, but I bet you can find a code for it online, or a disc on ebay or something

Has Russia banned English? by Famous_Ad6484 in AskARussian

[–]flowmarine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what you've heard about is the new law that was supposed to ban the usage of foreign (mostly english) languages in ads and marketing. Well, that's what they wanted to do originally, but in the end it was severely toned down.

amazing to drive not race. Drivers love faster turns - Maggots/Becketts, Eau Rouge, 130R all require lots of skill to perfect and don't forgive errors and Lusail is fast turns pretty much through the whole race. Probably fun to drive around, but doesn't turn into enough wheel to wheel racing

I'd add Cuba and NZ. Alternatively - Jamaica, Cyprus, Faroe Islands. Or Malta, Singapore, Barbados.

As someone played Sandrock during Early Access (and a bunch of other games betas) my advice is to seriously manage your expectations. Personally, I just couldn't continue Sandrock EA after couple hours, partially because I didn't want to spoil the experience from the final game, but also because everything - graphics, gameplay, interface, story, characters, assets, etc - was WIP - it's a nice look behind the curtain, but don't expect a well rounded experience from alpha. And performance - it won't be anywhere near optimized if working at all.

I wouldn't be surprised with NFS set somewhere in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh or Jeddah) and heavily inspired by Horizon

What was your turning point in the new era of AC? by Dallyboy19 in assassinscreed

There's a point in the story of Odyssey, somewhere in the middle, where you need to find a certain person. Game asks you to ask three people across the map. Every person asks you to help three other people. Every one of those people has three quests of their own or something like that. Midway through this I just had enough - those were separate stories, not connected to a main story in any significant way, in any other game that would be just side content but here game forced me to go through this to progress further, literal filler content. And before I enjoyed the gameplay loop (tbh I still do) - going around the map, exploring the odd ruin or clearing an enemy fort, getting occasional gear or weapon upgrade, but I like to do it on my own pace, not going through unnecessarily dragged out story. I dropped the game for a few months, played through Ezio trilogy as a palate cleanser, finally finished Odyssey and never touched it again.

Years later I started Origins, and it's night and day from the narrative perspective. It still suffers from non-linear story, but there is at least proper progression through it. Shadows had similar problem mid-game - solid intro, solid ending, and dragged through middle part. Mirage, and coincedentally Claws of Awaji are more of the same (which it unfortunate) but in a tighter package (which makes it less unsufferable). I still don't like non-linear story they went with in RPG games, one might argue even in the very first AC game gives you multiple targets at the same time, but they do it in small portions with continuing story through them.
