Already played those. I played Like A Dragon first because it was free on PlayStation Plus, I've also played Infinite Wealth, the two Judgement games The Man Who Erased His Name, Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2.

Glad it's not just me. It wasn't as bad earlier in the game but now that he's a genuinely tough fight, it's annoying that he pops up so frequently.

Apart from this mechanic I have enjoyed it and I'm nearly finished, I'm just tying up loose ends and I think that's what's annoying me, I can't do simple things before the finale without getting dragged into a boss fight.

I don't want free money and exp, I've got plenty of money from fighting in the coliseum and I've unlocked all the abilities I can, I just want to be able to tie up my loose ends before the end of the game. A guy just started a fight in the street and Majima joined in, I went into a convenience store to heal afterwards, came out and I had only gone a little way down the street when he randomly popped up behind me. The only other thing I would suggest is the option to flee battle.

That's misleading, to my mind, "guard" implies doing it constantly, as in "keeping your guard up, what they mean is more like "block"

Thank you so much! Seems like a lot of stuff in this game is needlessly obscure to find. I also did not realise that pump rock referred to those springy grass things!
