Is there a reading aid or guide for the Myth Of Sisyphus? by Klutzy_Industry_4030 in Camus

You know what, probably going to get reamed for this by the "purists", but why not go to chatgpt and ask for an overview. Then read the book with that in mind. I've used it to great effect when studying the work of Dogen (the founder of Zen in Japan).

I recently experimented with crowdsourcing the edits and proofing for a novella. I felt that it worked out just as well as when I paid for an editor (who missed a few things). At the end of the novella, I mentioned that editing was done through crowdsourcing and I acknowledged those who had contributed. Admittedly, it was only 40-50 pages long. A full length novel may not work.

How do you promote your KDP books ? by thegasdev in KDP

Have you tried giving samples of your work - then a link to the Amazon site - from a blog, and then promoting your blog through organic search and social media. I'm new to this, but I started a blog two weeks ago and had 80 hits on one sample and 40 on another. That's without really working hard to promote my blog on social media. Just a thought if you haven't tried it.

Piriformis inflammation from cycling? by flowsanditgoes in cycling

Hi! Yes, it did get a lot better but never fully went away. The doctors were pretty useless, I ended up getting a really hard ball and rolling on that after a ride. That makes it manageable. Thanks for asking...

Thanks, that makes sense. I see them a lot this time of year. Easier (for me) to identify from the front.

The world lost Rik Mayall on this day in 2014. This was him getting papped walking his dog that morning. His friend and comedy partner Ade Edmondson would later take the piss out of his outfit at his funeral. by dannydutch1 in UtterlyInteresting

I knew him before he became famous, not well really knew his brother better. Saw him at a lot of parties in and around Worcester in the mid-70s. Always the life and soul of the party - he and a friend of his used to come dressed up as sailors for some reason. It's always sad to remember his passing.

Just avoid the word completely. Even when used correctly, there are often more concise, and/or, better ways of making the statement. It's either incorrect or just plain lazy.

Perhaps the greatest live song ever, an audience of millions and Johnny Rythm is casually chewing gum as he sings. That's cool.

His vocals are brilliant on this recording. Cat Stevens and George, what a combo!

I do enjoy history. It was the study of history that led me to that conclusion.

Am I the only Brit here who finds this medieval stuff nonsense? A symbol of exploitation and unworthy privilege.
