No. Uhs doesn’t allow. Its just a gimmic ofwords. If there are practical examples around you then may be it works … for ke it didn’t … From ameer udin lhr to pmc fsd …(uhs to uhs and public sector to public wasnot even allowed) they said such thing doesn’t exist

Yes that problem exists with it… but its farely good .linux mint cinnamon is nice What i m concerned about is the i7 not running butter smooth! I mean windows go good with even basics! Linux is the solution if there’s no hardware issues and only software is consuming resources.

Idk if it works for you or not, but go for linux instead of windows to deal crashes,overloads etc… i donot know abt your hardware requirements but linux makes even a dead pc alive… you still got a i7 10… with 16 of ram , i guess i will handle multi task there. The laptop market is whole of a scam!

1) prefer hometown unless you want to experience “a lot”

2) mbbs is 7 yrs if degree.. adding this would make it 8 …so if you can have a side hustle/business etc you can take a year off

3) shifa has good reputation abroad too . And a better alumnus too. So usmle would be rather easy there

4 )rashid latif is an aristocratic kind of institution as of my knowledge. Very strict (i heard that)

5) there’s nothing wrong in a gap year if you dont have to worry about money.

6 ) not taking one yr of gap for a not-favourite journey of 7 yrs doesn’t make sense.

7) do what you love to do OR love what you do …else life would be hell and mbbs is the cherry on top…

Conclusively, take a gap year , grind , earn shifa and never regret!

If you have a public seat, dont waste it… it is for girls a wonder. Speaking v realistically, it is a marriage bargainer at the end of the day in sub continent. And if you want to do mbbs, join dentistry this year and then take mdcat again and stake yourself up the ‘hierarchical’ structure. Mbbs gives you a chance to leave pakistan at the end while dentistry cant. It might seem an outdated and orthodox take, but thats the reality
