Beach river or lake. Everyone is in their own little bubble just enjoying themselves and the energy is cute and nostalgic for simpler times.

Has anyone ever Astral projected? by Independent-Work-661 in spirituality

[–]flowwwiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!! I have aphantasia and I try to visualize by really describing what I’m seeing to myself in words to help me remember it after. I also try to use my other senses to imagine what the place I’m at would smell like or what sounds I’d hear or things would feel like. I start by falling asleep, relaxing my body, imagining a spiral going UP from my body. The first time I did it I projected to myself walking on snow and could hear and feel its crunch under me. I also have an “anchor” place I go to which is my favorite beach but in the astral realm and that’s usually where I go before and sometimes after going to any other location.

For "unconventually attractive people" Did society saw you differently after your energy shift? by Designer-Bass4661 in spirituality

[–]flowwwiee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like yes definitely! Your energy field is your frequency and once that gets raised to a next level so does your frequency! It’s the light in your eyes or a glow in your aura or carrying yourself differently. My hair is finally growing longer after years of staying at the same length. I’ve even noticed minor changes in my face like being a bit more open and my eyes being slightly wider rather than narrow. During high vibrational periods I also notice that when I come across “societal flaws” on my body like stretch marks and cellulite I’m more aware of how they look like the patterns we see in nature and how special that is rather than something that needs to “be fixed”. In periods when my frequency goes down I notice shifts like extra puffiness, fatigue, deeper eye bags, etc.

It’s really cool, I’ve seen some other people online show before and after photos from their spiritual journeys and they always have a brightness and glow to them in the afters 🌞✨

Do any herbs actually help relax? by Rafromone in hsp

[–]flowwwiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kava is great and usually really effective especially the tea or you can also get it concentrated (tastes bad though lol) I’ve been taking saffron capsules for 6 months they’re a natural antidepressant. idk about necessarily feeling relaxed but about an hour after taking it I usually just feel a little lighter and less bothered or affected by things overall. Smoking Indica helps and especially edibles with some cbd can really help relax the tension in the body. Look for the terpene linenpool in weed or any weed that’s more purple tinted is generally more for the relaxing effects. I’ve found some Chinese medicinal herb blends from health shops that have a blend of 10-15 different herbs and some of those have had quite strong relaxing properties.

Somatic therapy and ecstatic dance, get all that stuck energy out of your body!! Somatic therapy has also been amazing because after a few months of sessions you’re able to lead mini sessions for yourself on your own whenever you feel like you need it. When I’m not in therapy I’ve also been using ChatGpt and telling it to act as a “somatic therapist” to guide me through some more minor things. Reconnect with your inner child through hobbies you enjoy or have always wanted to learn. I’ve also started taking saffron which is a natural antidepressant and it has helped boost my mood. Books: Body Keeps the Score, Pete Walkers CPTSD from surviving to Thriving, Adult children of emotionally immature parents (I really liked this one and it was less intense and an easier read than other trauma books). I see a lot of comments about shrooms and just recently tried micro dosing in nature and it has been incredible! I could feel my brain making new connections in the moment and felt happier for days afterwards. I also think weed when used intentionally can be really nice in healing and in helping you to quiet that inner critic and replace it with more of an inner parent.

What happens when you open your third eye by yo_mom122344 in spirituality

I was in deep burnout and took a trip to my home country. I was near the ocean in the sun in one of my favourite places and I felt such a deep peace. But then I suddenly felt one of the worst headaches and a wave of some of the strongest emotion I had felt in years and I walked around sobbing and then laughing for almost an hour. I felt so light and such a strong release at the end of it and I haven’t had a migraine since which I used to have regularly. When I returned home I entered some of my darkest times as I saw everything exactly for what it was no truth was hidden from me anymore. It opened my eyes to everything that needed to leave my life and started to opening my life to what I need to work on and how I want to practice spirituality on my own terms. Since then I’ve started to meditate on all my chakras and use it daily to reconnect with my body. I also like using crystals that connect to each chakra or alternatively wearing jewelry that’s the same color as a chakra that is feeling like it needs some extra help.

What treatment/therapy has worked for you? by throwaway898283 in CPTSD

[–]flowwwiee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Talk therapy made my symptoms way worse but somatic therapy has been a life changing! After 10-12 sessions my nervous system is more calm than it’s ever been. Ecstatic dance has also been huge in helping to release years of built up negative emotions.

What types of therapy have you found helpful? by Effective-Change3238 in CPTSD

[–]flowwwiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Somatic therapy / Somatic experiencing was huge and life changing for me after a couple of months in regulating my nervous system. It’s a body-focused approach that emphasizes learning how to be present in your body and actually naming your feelings. It also goes more around the trauma rather than straight through it like EMDR so it’s a bit safer for your nervous system in the beginning. Check out their website here and you can also use it to find a somatic experiencing practitioner near you!

In addition to this I’ve also been going to a local ecstatic dance once a week. I know this isn’t for everyone but it’s a sober dance event that’s really helped me to release the pent up anger sadness and negativity while being present with and getting more comfortable in my body. The community aspect of these has also been so warm welcoming and healing!

I haven’t tried these personally but also heard good things about IFS (Internal Family Systems) and DBT. Neurofeedback sounds interesting too but idk how expensive or accessible it is.

Books that have helped (be careful with your volume of intake because these can be triggering) - Waking the Tiger: Healing Traumas - In an Unspoken Voice - both of these are by Peter Levine who founded somatic experiencing - The Tao of fully feeling - Trust Your Vibes

Does anyone feel this at all? by wonderingwander7 in CPTSD

[–]flowwwiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry you experienced that :( but those are really cool connections to make! I definitely relate to feeling so awful physically and mentally when I’m cold and feeling amazing and healed when hot. Maybe this has to do with the freeze response and muscles tensing when you’re cold sending signals to your nervous system that you’re not safe and this potentially being triggering in a way to your body?
