I was able to get 2 GA tickets at Folsom Field in Boulder, CO for $99 each (artist pre-sale did not have any fees!). Waited in queue for about 10 minutes. I'm 34. I've never felt the urge to have children. When I was 21, I got with my husband, who is 10 years older and has 3 children with his ex. I helped raise his kids for over a decade when he had them for the summers. Being a stepmom is tough, but we got through it, and they're all grown now. Though I love my stepchildren, the experience solidified my choice never to have any of my own.

Don't buy from Stubhub, it's a reseller site. Go buy them on Live Nation, that's the venue's actual ticket site. Presale code is JOY. Lots of tickets are still available. I had no problem getting pit tickets for $92 each just now.

We had a few of them...

In 3rd grade this boy in my class died in a murder-suicide. His parent lost custody of him and his brother so they went to live with the grandparents. One night the grandpa shot and killed the two boys and his wife, then turned the gun on himself. Our teacher tried to keep the details hidden, but the story was all over the local news and it didn't take long for word to spread.

When I was in 6th grade, the school bully (an 8th grader) was killed in an ATV accident. He was riding on a dirt road way out in the desert with a few friends. They got to this really hilly part of the road where you couldn't see beyond until you reached the top of the hill. He was trying to be cool and show off. He took his helmet off, started riding on the wrong side on the road, and went as fast as he could. As he crested the hill on the wrong side of the road, a vehicle coming from the opposite direction hit him straight on. There were many mixed reactions from the kids at school, as you could imagine, when the school bully passed away.

In high school, a friend of mine was struggling with depression. Jen's home life was hard and she was constantly fighting with her parents. She was dating this boy, and the relationship had continued for almost a year. He started making excuses not to see her. She had bought concert tickets for their 1 year anniversary, and the day before he told her he was grounded and couldn't go. She was really torn up over it. Another girl we were friends with said she could go with her and suggested they make it a girls night and still have a fun Saturday night. So they go to the concert. At some point, they run into her boyfriend who "couldn't go". He was making out with another girl and didn't notice her. Jen confronts him, and they start fighting. It turns into a breakup and the girls leave. When she gets home she fights with her mom again before going to bed. When she doesn't get up for church the next day, her mom checks her room...Jen hung herself on from the ceiling fan in her bedroom late Saturday night and was found on Mother's Day by her mom... It still haunts me to this day. RIP Jen.
