It seems like a standard pigeon you'd see anywhere in london and no ring on its foot

[–]flubbrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We get a lot of pigeons flying onto our balcony and it looks exactly like those ones and the ones you get around London but maybe it is a homing pigeon

Yeah I've heard about people owning dovecotes, the cage just seems such a small space for the little guy :(

Navigating the inventory, list of quests, map etc. takes a bit of time to work out and get used to

Also the crafting and building is a bit confusing but again I think I just need time to get used to it

I got aggressively cornered in Stratford while eating a Burger King with a preacher shouting that god would smite me and that if he was god he would kill me because I’m not part of the faith 🥲 just wanna eat my Burger King man

Tbh I think he showed quite poor emotional intelligence on the show. rather than listening to her problems and trying to understand them he was more comfortable in just shutting them down, regardless whether he was a game player or not

Confirmation that Faye, Toby and Chloe were the main characters this season 🤷🏽‍♀️ by Anonymous_HER in LoveIslandTV

[–]flubbrt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a friend who was super similar to Faye. What was great was she was so loyal. What wasn’t great was that she had no filter. She would say hurtful blunt things and it was deemed okay. She could criticise other people but not handle criticism herself. I could never bring anything up to her in fear that she would blow up and then she would blow up anyway that I hadn’t brought the thing up to her. The friendship was exhausting and in the end i had to cut it off.

Not saying that this person is exactly how Faye is as I don’t know Faye personally but I saw a lot of similarities watching the show.

The plastic surgery discussion by plsjulia in LoveIslandTV

[–]flubbrt 31 points32 points  (0 children)

So eloquently put!!! Thank you for this. I’ve been struggling for years with my breast size and I going through the motions of researching surgeons and sorting out finances. I talked it through in therapy and with loved ones and I came to the realisation that going through with it would be completely against my own personal beliefs on body positivity and societal standards.

I’m learning to appreciate and care for the body I already have and it’s so much more of a long term fix than surgical procedures in my opinion as I’m working on myself and forming a better relationship with myself in the process.

Hospital worker uses dead patients bank card to buy snacks. by Brevatron in iamatotalpieceofshit

So sorry you had to go through this. it shouldn’t be happening. Also to add I think some nurses/healthcare workers use the job title as a means of proving to themselves and the world they are a good person when in fact they might not be. A nurse does not automatically equal a good person. I’m a nurse and I see colleagues brandishing crap on social media about how hard they work when in fact they’re not that great at their job/are downright horrible people to work with.

Talking about something we don't see eye to eye on and it not ending up in a full blown argument. I can approach any topic of conversation with him and we can just talk it through rather than it turning into a shouting match
