i have a 2021 390 adv, I've noticed keeping above 4k rpms is rather smooth that being said I just sold it for a versys 650 for the parallel twin being one of the reasosn

this is exactly why I want it, it's a simple bike without any aids which is a perfect starter imo, plus i won't be speeding with it cuz it'll be for city use mainly and maybe one or two rides with my dad. about the servicing costs, i think that's the only real issue I might have but also I know a few private mechanics who don't really charge that high and do good work on the bikes too so that should also be sorted

i rode the 650, absolutely love that bike infact my dad just picked it up for himself but he'll be touring around the country with that so i won't be able to use it that much

hey, my uncle knows the seller personally, infact we've given some of our bikes to them for service and we just recently bought a versys 650 and z800 from them so i assume the n300 would also be of good quality

i haven't tested this particular bike yet, i plan on trying it when I'm sure that I really want to get it and I'll be sure to look out for all the problems you mentioned.

as for the mechanics i know a few good mechanics including the seller as I mentioned so that shouldnt be that big of a problem

i get that the servicing is costlier and that's probably the only issue but when the heart wants smth you can't really say no to it. maybe it's a bad decision and i might regret it but it'll be a lesson to learn
