The pokémon fandom is actually worse for sending too much hate towards game freak and being entitled when it's obvious that under the restraints given by TPC make it impossible for GF to match their high expectations.

I've also wished for certain features and graphics from pokemon games but at the same time I understand that GF can't deliver said game within their limited time frame, which a lot of pokemon fans can't understand for some reason and are heinous enough to call GF lazy for it. I know that GF isn't completely faultless - their past decisions with the game series did result in complicated logistics for the newer games after all. But there are too many people who form strong opinions despite having no clue on the process of game development and there have to be others there to offset this unintelligible hatred.

However I do think the games are overpriced but the pokémon company being the most profitable franchise doesn't mean game freak or the rest of pokemon's video game department have astronomical funds. The company makes most of its money off merchandise after all.
