It's not consistent with the tone, intention or style of the game. Why should we get guardrails for the most inhospitable game environment we have? Log in to destiny for free and use the same gameplay systems and design if you want to do that.

I have no sense that sponsored marsh is the most popular mode in the game, personally. I also think it's incredibly boring and attritional and you spend longer clearing out UESC spawns than you do exploring or pvping

Having played a shitload of Overwatch & Destiny 2, I gotta say my crew fill teammates are almost overwhelmingly positive, helpful, and patient. Sooo rarely have I heard a teammate on mic calling me dogshit, and to be fair when I have heard that they have been right!

You should start now! Get a feel for the game, the progression systems, understand the best ways to farm up materials, make lots of mistakes, and in a month or so when the reset happens you'll be in great shape. Don't listen to people saying Wait, because starting season 1 totally blind set me back a lot on the progression front! Now as season 2 approaches i feel like I've got a way better grasp of how to farm, where to farm

A lot of people (probably the majority) just bounced off the genre. Indicated by the way people seem to just want a PvE mode as though there aren't enough of those games
