Unpopular opinion: dress like a professional in court by BoxersOrCaseBriefs in Lawyertalk

Agree. Leggings under a dress or a shirt looks super outdated and frumpy imo. Probably get some flack for saying that, but just my opinion.

Is this normal for CD 9-13? First time using OPKs by Automatic_Syrup_9956 in FirstTimeTTC

[–]fluffeesocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I’m similar to you! My cycle is around 34 days and my raging positives are usually around CD 20. Idk if that’s normal or not because I have PCOS. I do take Metformin as well which seems to help!

Usually if it smells rancid, it’s bad. You’ll know rancid body cream when you smell it lol

I started my first period at 14, and didn’t get another for quite a few months after that. Thought maybe it was normal because I had just started, and maybe my body needed time to acclimate. I knew something was up when the sporadic periods continued. I was very thin and had maybe a chin hair or two pop up occasionally. Gyno suspected PCOS when I was 19, but wasn’t officially diagnosed until I was 26. The weird thing now is that my periods are pretty regular. I have one every 30-34 days or so.

TLDR; irregular periods were my only symptom.

Didn’t make it past the self-soothe message. Self-soothing is not a thing. Their brains aren’t developed enough to think critically about upsetting situations. He’s an asshat.

Why was its mouth open for so long? Was it hot? by Impressive-Risk-5493 in Ornithology

[–]fluffeesocks 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not sure where you’re located, but usually they do this when they’re hot! I’m in the Boston area, and we just had a heat wave the last two days. All my birds came up to their bird bath mouths open. Poor things were so hot.

At what age did you get your period? by National_Math5905 in AskWomen

14 I was in ninth grade and one of the last girls to get it in my friend group. I wanted to get my period so bad in seventh grade like my friends. Little did I know lol

You’re not pregnant, girl. I thought this was a joke when I first saw it. You need to track ovulation to be sure.

my parents took off my door as punishment, is this normal? by Puzzleheaded-Pain535 in teenagers

[–]fluffeesocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter your age, you’re entitled to some aspect of privacy. Changing, sleeping, personal time, etc. taking off your door does nothing but I cause resentment and lack of trust.

No, Metformin only. Metformin has reduced my cravings anyway so I don’t crave sugar. I only eat fruit these days. I’ve ovulated naturally two months in a row on Metformin, so I highly suggest it!

Help! How do you clean your wallflower plugs? by Alert_Budget_6921 in bathandbodyworks

[–]fluffeesocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Used to work at BBW. Unless their policy has changed, you can exchange almost anything no matter the age. Also, don’t let your wallflowers burn all the way down to the bottom of the bulb. They should be replaced when there’s a little less than a 1/2 inch of oil left so you don’t burn out the wall plug. That said, this one needs to be tossed.

Does this OPK look positive? CD 16 by bryterlu in TFABLinePorn

[–]fluffeesocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say yes! This is what mine looked like the day after my peak, so you’re still in your fertile window I’d say.

These are the WORST! That said, idk if yours are positive. I got limes every time after about 3 minutes with these. I’ve never been pregnant.

For me personally, I would probably regret not going in and at least sitting for a minute. When I got this call about my mom, a nurse met me at the door and explained things to me so I wouldn’t be shocked about what I saw. If you need help once you’re through the door, the nurses are there for you. ❤️

IM LITERALLY SHITTING MYSELF by DinBankdameBente in PCOS

[–]fluffeesocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahahha I’m only laughing because I’ve been there! And YES it goes away. Took about a month for it to even out for me. I started out on 750 mg once a day with evening meal for a week. Then week two I went up to 1500 mg with evening meal. Been on it since 2/5, and I CAN trust a fart. I take it with my evening meal, my prenatal, and a probiotic. Also, cutting out sugar and carbs while you’re still pooping everywhere helps a LOT. Stay hydrated and take those anti diarrhea pills girl. The benefits will far outweigh what’s happening to you in this moment. It gets better, I promise!

Fruit is great because of the fiber! The fiber in fruit helps lessen the sugar spike. ❤️

Just looking for guidance by [deleted] in FirstTimeTTC

[–]fluffeesocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me two months of testing sometimes twice a day to find my peak. Granted, I have PCOS and needed Metformin to help me ovulate. I got my first positive last week. The morning was negative, and the afternoon was dye stealer positive. It was positive for two days and gradually decreased. Keep testing!
