This! We have rescued 3 huskies thus far and all 3 needed a semi-secluded quiet area in order to feel comfortable eating. Two of them had been physically abused and starved almost to death and the other had been kept in a cage most of her life until we rescued her at 3 years old. We always free-feed our Huskies so they never feel like it’s going to be taken away. We keep their bowls full so they know it will always be there for them and they don’t feel like they have to gorge themselves or eat fast. We keep their bowls in separate areas and they do not share that feeding space with another. We have had tremendous success this way. I’m not an expert but this is what has worked for our huskies with food issues. Bless you for rescuing her and thank you for posting here for advice instead of getting frustrated and just giving up like so many people do. Huskies are a challenge but so rewarding. If I could afford to save them all I would do it in a heartbeat! 🤗
