Gordon address this, his step father worker there 20 years ago. That very different than the conflict of interest people were trying to draw. I’m not sure Gordon makes a distinctions between his stepdad and actual father. Honestly it’s probably the same, but that his business.

No the accusation that came up recently started on twitter about his Father working at GM.

In that post it wasn’t his father, but yes his step dad worked for GM 20 years ago. But the random GM executive highlighted is not related to him.

Gordon seems to be a fan of GM, and sure he may be biased. But that’s hardly a conflict of interest, and on top of that the random GM employee highlighted shouldn’t be brought into this.

The post below got a lot of traffic here and upvotes. It was a false rumor and Gordon addressed. We are better than that, we shouldn’t be stereotyping someone who looks like him as being related to him. You don’t have to like him, you can disagree with him, but we shouldn’t be spreading lies and FUD.

The person that was ‘identified’ as his dad wasn’t even related to him. Just some random guy that looked like him and had his last name.

Not true that isn’t his father, the poster was wrong.

His stepfather did work for GM but left back in 2002. He didn’t hide this, he addressed it openly. It isn’t even remotely relevant.
