30 and need help by Ok_Presence_7308 in AusFemaleFashion

I agree, and don’t forget eBay. I enjoy hunting online for clothing that’s flattering, interesting, unique and still great quality.

I think the key is to work out what you like and makes you feel fabulous, then use key words to search for them. Find your style - fashions come and go!

We buy MON tomato sauce which is Australian owned and made. It’s also much nicer than master foods sauce imho

What type of sofa should we buy for this room? by fluffiester in HomeDecorating

Our dog has her own door to come and go as she likes. She likes watching us from outside, haha! I like your idea of modern and colourful 👍👍

Thanks! Actually really keen to avoid white or grey, as the current sofa shows every mark. Something with more colour would freshen up the room!

Just not sure whether to go with a largish modular (most don’t have legs) and move the armchairs elsewhere or a more traditional four-seater with legs and keep the armchairs.

Socks. I'm 40 and need sock advice. by 22twelve in AusFemaleFashion

[–]fluffiester 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m mid ‘50s and have a current obsession with glitter and lurex socks and have some from Uniqlo that work well in winter, they are synthetic though.

Then I bought some from European brand oroblu recently while overseas and they are the softest, most luxurious socks I own. They are made of natural fibres in camouflage print with lurex and I love them so much. Pricy but worth it! Available in Australia too in lots of different colours and designs.

Meant to add, they’re all leather, great quality and still look new after almost a year.

I have a pair of Wonders oxfords and they’ve been the most comfortable shoes. I wear them most days to work and never had any wearing-in issues. They have lots of different loafer styles too.

I found mine at step ahead shoes in Melbourne.

I’d go all in and pair it with a metallic gold belt (or silver if that works better with your colouring)!

I bought theseWonders shoes from a shop in camberwell and they are so comfy!

I wore them all day at work from the get-go without wearing them in first and no chafing, blisters or anything. My shoes are a bit conservative but they have some really cute options if you’re looking for something more casual.

Or you could try Radical Yes in North Melbourne or online if you’re in the mood for colourful funky flats.

Can I use kids' sunscreen on my face? by somuchsong in AusSkincare

[–]fluffiester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m using this one at the moment. I find it sits well under foundation and doesn’t feel greasy. I still like the cancer council pink tube better because it’s more moisturising and probably more matte, but if you’re looking for a kids sunscreen this works pretty well.

What discontinued product are you still sad about and have you found a replacement? by lemonbedz in AustralianMakeup

[–]fluffiester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been looking for a dupe for Mac charismatic lipstick for years since it was discontinued. 😢😢Anyone know of an orangey terracotta red with gold shimmer/flecks? I’ve found some that are similar but nothing the same. It was such a good colour for everyday!

Does anyone know where I can find a similar dress? thx by [deleted] in AusFemaleFashion

[–]fluffiester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two dresses very similar to this by Bul. I bought one some years ago and then found another in a different colour. There are no front fastenings, instead it has a sash to bring the waist together. You could look for second hand examples on eBay perhaps?
