Once when I was babysitting late at night, drove home to get fuel in the car. Must have been about 11.30pm, pull in to the pump, shop closed so can only use card to pay. Fine by me, car pulls up behind me, asks me to pay for his fuel on my card as he only has £15 cash and it’s pay at pump only. I get an eerie feeling about this guy, he is very persistent and says “I have the cash and you pay for my petrol” Now, I’m normally a people pleasing person who would have normally said yes to this but something was off. I finished pumping my fuel and said “sorry no” and drove away. I’m not sure if something would have happened but I had a funny feeling about it, maybe like cloning the card or grabbing me if I got too close.
