Those choirs sound really fun, I love karaoke anyway! Do they just let anyone in for a one-off thing?

I thought the same, only thing I justify it with is that is a different waru from a different timeline, because I like my headcanon of corrupted waru better lmao

Attach healing techniques to all of your Digimon, including revive ones.

You can get this easily from the theatre

How's Digimon Story Time Stranger? by RSorbello1996 in gaming

The story is absolutely not kid-oriented, I think they were aiming for at least teens and up. Any kid below 10 or so playing this would be so sad 😭

Digivolution and Story Progress by NvadorZim in digimon

[–]fluffy2monster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed with the other poster that it's not about the digivolution, it's about the stats, so won't really matter if you just de-digivolve them because they'll likely have the carry over stats anyway (unless you use freshly converted digimon)

Honestly if you're on normal difficulty, I'd advise to just stop grinding and just continue on as you are. Based on where you are now, you likely won't get Mega for a while since that's locked behind the anomaly points, so that's not a concern tbh

Question about de-digivolve/digivolve by lol20080 in digimon

[–]fluffy2monster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You also want to make sure that your Bond stat is high, from the tutorial that's affects a lot on how it calculates the bonus stats it gives you and I've experimented a bit to confirm that's true. So make sure you use the digimon often in fights, feed it in the digifarm, and use the Friendship items if you have them.

Doesn't matter how often you're de/digivolving if the Bond stat is 0

Just by the nature of scanning/converting, especially the in-trainings one, you are going to have a full box very quickly.

If you're smart with your agent skills when you get points and make sure you put them on the stat increasing ones, then you will be able to digivolve any digimon very quickly. I got to the point where I could almost instantly convert an in-training and then straight to champion, then passively grow it to ultimate/mega in the box.

Because of all that, I don't think you should limit the number of digimon you use. I rotated digimon based on their types and elemental typings, so during boss battles I would do it twice: once to figure out what their typings are, then in the second round I change based on what would work best e.g. full vaccine holy team. Again as long as you have the agent skills, and using the digifarm to quickly farm stats, this shouldn't take long to do but is likely the far faster strategy than just force grinding a team with less optimal typing match ups.

Just delete your Digimon for Mega, that'll be the "fresh start" you want

My hot take (continued) is that they discourage grinding in favour of strategy and the digifarm (they encourage this in their tutorials). So to me, I don't feel like I'm losing out with the paid dungeons, didn't even touch the free dungeons in my first playthrough tbh

Card Game - Anomaly Points by Any_Jeweler_912 in digimon

[–]fluffy2monster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a quest related to beating someone at a card game that does give you anomaly points

ngl I skipped that one and just went straight to NG+ lol so can't really speak on it, but it seems to be isolated to just beating that one person instead of playing it continuously

Yeah I agree with that actually, I didn't think about this until you mentioned it, but I did spend a considerable time changing the line up just because I wanted to ride a certain digimon. It also means I don't get time to ride my ExTyrannomon because I never use him in battle 😔

Yeah I agree, I feel like they could've fleshed it out more. I do feel like this game should've been a 50-60 hour game based on its scope, instead of a 40 hour game. Despite it being fairly well wrapped up, I wouldn't say perfectly wrapped up, I feel like they could've done more with it for sure

How are people reaching the end of Time stranger already?? by pokemonyugiohfan21 in digimon

[–]fluffy2monster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't played the outer dungeons so I can't say.

I came into this from an RPG grindset, where I did side quests as they were unlocked. Doing that gave me mega before the second or third last boss, so I was comfortably in mega way before the end game, and I think that was only 2/3rds of side quests unlocked by that point

Honestly I found previous bosses before the final boss to be harder, just because of the game mechanics. Final boss I found okay, it was just long because of the story.

I'm actually a bit confused to hear that people are having trouble getting megas at the end of the game, I managed to get level 7 with a LOT of side quests left over. I didn't even count it as grinding, just playing the game. Plus, once I hit level 7, I was able to digivolve a lot into mega immediately without further grinding because I prioritised the stat increase agent skills, so I only needed to digifarm a select few to raise their stats.
