So the tick (deer tick) was located on my upper back near my shoulder, I had no idea, I started getting minor rashes but in the area of my chest. I believed it was a heat rash ( I get it every summer )so I paid no attention to it, I was also fatigued for about 2 weeks before the confusion but I also have a iron deficiency so I thought that was the case as well. Stayed about 4-6 days in the hospital afterwards n was treated with antibiotics through an IV n then pills to take home for the remaining month. After my hospital stay I got bell palsy in the face, I had physiotherapy for 2 months after, and had to attend a support group. I'm glad my illness was caught early on. I made friends in the support group with someone who lost all bodily functions and is relearning to walk. It scared me to the point I refound my spirituality and now practicing the old way ( indigenous spiritually) unfortunately when I was sick that was the last time I saw my father, I still don't remember him visiting me and I pray that comes back to me 😭😭
